Job Overview – Commercial Insurance Marketing Manager:
Compensation: $90,000 – $130,000/year + bonus
Location: Greater Boston Area
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Drive commercial insurance marketing as a Commercial Insurance Marketing Manager with our client in the Greater Boston Area. In this hybrid role, you will lead new and renewal marketing, review carrier quotes, and manage documentation in ImageRight. You’ll guide Account Executives and Account Managers on coverage, carrier products, and binding authority while driving marketing initiatives in a fast-paced agency environment.

Responsibilities as the Commercial Insurance Marketing Manager:

  • Marketing Management: Lead marketing of new and renewal business, negotiating competitive terms and ensuring accurate carrier submissions.
  • Carrier Evaluation: Review and compare quotes to applications, make adjustments, and leverage carrier rating platforms for precise pricing.
  • Team Support: Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers by providing guidance on products, coverage, and forms.
  • System Oversight: Manage ImageRight to-do lists and ensure all marketing documents are properly recorded and accessible.
  • Authority & Compliance: Maintain knowledge of carrier binding authority and ensure compliance with company and carrier guidelines.

Qualifications for the Commercial Insurance Marketing Manager:

  • Licensure: Active Producer License required.
  • Certification: CPCU, AAI, CIC, or AIS designations strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a commercial insurance agency environment, with expertise in marketing, placement, and carrier negotiations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ImageRight or other insurance management systems.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverage, products, and carrier guidelines.
  • Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, strong team collaboration, and commitment to client service excellence.
  • Additional Requirements: Reliable transportation with ability to travel to client sites or branch offices as needed.
