Job Overview – Senior Back-End Developer (Software Engineering):
Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000/year + bonus
Location: Greenwich, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Lead high-performance software development as a Senior Back-End Developer (Software Engineering) with our client in Greenwich, CT. Design, build, and maintain scalable software frameworks, integrating advanced technologies to meet complex business needs. Collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams, leveraging C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core) to deliver high-quality solutions. Ideal for experienced backend developers with expertise in financial services, structured products, and cloud architectures.
Responsibilities as the Senior Back-End Developer:
- Software Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end systems and frameworks using C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core).
- Collaboration: Work with product, business, and engineering teams to translate requirements into high-performing solutions.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance performance, security, and efficiency.
- Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure maintainability.
- Agile Delivery: Contribute in an agile, feedback-driven environment to deliver iterative improvements and system optimizations.
Qualifications for the Senior Back-End Developer:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Experience: 10–15+ years of back-end development experience, ideally in financial technology or other high-performance software environments.
- Technical Skills: Expert in C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core) with knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, web technologies, relational databases, Python, AWS, Azure, and UI/UX best practices.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial products, with preference for structured products and capital markets.
- Skills & Attributes: Strategic thinker and self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments.
