Atlantic Group is hiring a Full Stack Developer to build automation tools, internal platforms, and scalable web apps for our tech-driven team in New York, NY (Hybrid). This hands-on role is ideal for developers who enjoy solving real operational challenges through intuitive, lightweight digital solutions. You’ll lead projects like website rebuilds, workflow automation, and backend integrations while collaborating across departments. Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, React, and cloud-hosted backends is required, along with a strong understanding of application security and internal tool development.

Responsibilities as the Full Stack Developer:

  • Platform & Tool Development: Build secure internal tools and scalable web apps to support business operations.
  • Workflow Automation: Create utilities for timesheets, invoicing, reporting, and approval processes.
  • Website Rebuild: Lead the redesign of the company website using modern frameworks and responsive design.
  • Cross Collaboration: Translate operational needs into digital solutions in partnership with key departments.
  • Issue Resolution & Optimization: Triage bugs, deploy improvements, and propose ways to streamline manual tasks.
  • Security, Testing & Documentation: Maintain test coverage, ensure secure architecture, and document systems for reuse.

Qualifications for the Full Stack Developer:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years as a Full Stack Developer or a strong project portfolio in internal tools or scalable platforms, with preferred experience in member-based apps, two-sided marketplaces, or AI/LLM-driven projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, JavaScript, Node.js, and React, with experience in HTML/CSS, Tailwind, Firebase, Flask, Vercel, REST APIs, and lightweight automation tools.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong grasp of application security best practices, including OWASP Top 10, authentication, RBAC, endpoint protection, secure file handling, audit logging, and web data security.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
