Our client is hiring a Business Analyst (Project Support) in Lawrence, MA to support strategic initiatives, performance analysis, and cross-functional project execution. This temporary role is ideal for professionals with experience in data analysis, business reporting, and operational planning. You’ll document business requirements, contribute to budgeting efforts, and help drive process improvements across departments.

Responsibilities as the Business Analyst:

  • Requirements Gathering: Draft and refine business requirements aligned with strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Project Planning & Support: Assist in documenting project dependencies, timelines, and outcomes while working closely with stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation: Evaluate performance metrics and apply consistent methods to interpret trends and business outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with business units and technical teams to ensure alignment on decisions, goals, and deliverables.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Contribute to financial analysis, departmental reporting, standard operating procedures, and internal process improvements.

Qualifications for the Business Analyst:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, project support, or operations within a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and enterprise software systems, with additional experience in data visualization or reporting tools preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and communication skills, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and capable of managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of business planning, budgeting principles, resource allocation, and basic accounting concepts preferred.
