Job Overview – Commercial Lines Account Manager (Hybrid):
Join our client’s dynamic team as a Commercial Lines Account Manager in Boston, MA. In this hybrid role, you’ll oversee and service a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction while managing day-to-day account needs, renewals, and new business opportunities. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and providing tailored insurance solutions.
Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Commercial Lines Account Manager:
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for an existing portfolio, addressing client inquiries.
- Policy Servicing: Manage endorsements, certificates of insurance, claims, and billing for clients.
- Renewal and Marketing: Handle renewal marketing, process renewals, and provide coverage recommendations.
- New Business Development: Market and quote new business, prepare ACORD forms, and process new accounts.
- Account Rounding: Identify cross-sell opportunities to round out accounts with additional coverage.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate client files in the agency management system (AMS360 or similar).
Qualifications for the Commercial Lines Account Manager:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing small to medium-sized commercial lines accounts.
- Licensure: Current Property and Casualty license required or the ability to obtain one within an agreed timeframe.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in AMS360 or similar agency management systems, with a strong knowledge of commercial lines products and coverage options.
- Skills: Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a proactive approach to client service and problem-solving.
