Job Overview – Client Service Principal (Operations):
Take on a pivotal role with our client as a Client Service Principal (Operations) in Boston, MA. In this hybrid position, you will lead client relationship management, optimize operational workflows, and ensure high-quality service for financial portfolios. As a key collaborator in the financial services sector, you will drive satisfaction, maintain compliance, and support operational excellence.
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Client Service Principal (Operations):
- Team Leadership: Manage staff operations, provide mentorship, and conduct performance reviews.
- Client Deliverables: Ensure accurate and timely reports, statements, and account reconciliations while maintaining compliance.
- Escalation Management: Serve as the escalation point for resolving client operational inquiries.
- Process Improvements: Identify and implement enhancements to client service workflows.
- Portfolio Oversight: Oversee investment execution and validate transactions and documentation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Investment, Compliance, and Legal teams to advocate for client interests.
Qualifications for the Client Service Principal (Operations):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: 8-10 years in investment operations, including 5+ years in client service roles within financial services (management or supervisory experience with OCIO or high-net-worth clients preferred).
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, excellent organizational and time management skills, and a detail-oriented approach.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in financial analysis tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: Analytical, adaptable, and professional, with strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset focused on operational excellence.
