Job Overview – Marketing Specialist (Education):
Step into a dynamic role as a Marketing Specialist with our client, a mission-driven organization in Montgomery County, PA. Partner with the Director of Marketing to drive community engagement and visibility through social media, content creation, event coordination, and media relations, with opportunities for creativity and growth.
Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000/year
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Marketing Specialist (Education):
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute campaigns to engage the community and expand the organization’s reach.
- Digital Content Creation: Use Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to design graphics, update websites, and manage blog content.
- Email Marketing & Analytics: Create, schedule, and analyze email campaigns, leveraging tools like Salesforce for data-driven insights.
- Media Relations: Maintain relationships with media outlets, monitor industry news, and assist with crafting press releases and PR campaigns.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute events in collaboration with production partners, managing logistics such as ticketing, RSVPs, and vendor relations.
- Video Production: Coordinate video projects, schedule shoots, and manage post-production to create impactful digital content.
Qualifications for the Marketing Specialist (Education):
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 2-4+ years in Marketing, preferably in the nonprofit or education sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, social media platforms, email marketing tools, and website management.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, event management, and organizational skills to manage priorities, execute projects, and drive media engagement.
- CRM Knowledge: Familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms for data-driven marketing initiatives.
- Video Production Experience: Knowledge of video production logistics and digital storytelling is a plus.
