Job Overview – Senior Estimator (Pre-construction):
Join our client in Palm Beach County, FL, as a Senior Estimator, responsible for estimating various construction projects including Commercial, Multifamily, and Warehouses. You will work directly with the owner and Managing Partner to ensure accurate cost estimation and project planning.
Compensation: $90,000 – $140,000/year + bonus
Location: Palm Beach County, FL
Responsibilities as the Senior Estimator:
- Project Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for Commercial, Multifamily, and Warehouse construction projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the owner and Managing Partner to develop accurate and competitive bids.
- Coordination: Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing and ensure project needs are met.
- Budget Analysis: Review project budgets, cost reports, and forecasts to maintain financial control.
- Development: Prepare proposals and negotiate terms with clients to secure projects.
- Project Management: Utilize Procore or similar project management software to track project costs and progress.
Qualifications for the Senior Estimator:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of Construction experience required, with a focus on Commercial and Multifamily projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Procore or similar project management software and excellent computer skills.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
- Industry Knowledge: Commercial Construction experience required.
- Attributes: Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
