Job Overview – Financial Accountant (Hybrid):
Take on an impactful role with our client’s team in Dallas, TX, as a Financial Accountant. In this temporary role, you will interface with all levels of management, identifying and implementing processes that will drive improvements across the business.
Compensation: $30/hour
Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Financial Accountant:
- Allocations: Assist with the calculation and maintenance of expense allocations and allocation rules.
- Reporting: Conduct deep reporting analysis and follow up on various ad hoc items, including methodology changes and invoice support.
- Collaboration: Work with departments to design allocation methodologies for various services.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance of expense recoveries in accordance with fund documents.
- Coordination: Collaborate with domestic and international teams across Deal Teams, Fund Accounting, IT, Operations, Compliance, and more.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes throughout the expense lifecycle.
Qualifications for the Financial Accountant:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience: 5-6 years in Public Accounting, Internal Audit, Fund Admin, Compliance, or Private Equity/Investment Management.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with alternative investments, private equity, and partnership accounting is a plus.
- Skills: Strong accounting and Excel skills (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
- Competencies: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proactive attitude.
