Compensation: $18 – $23/hour
Location: Bangor, ME
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (40 Hours/Week)
Responsibilities as the Phlebotomist Associate:
- Specimen Collection: Perform accurate pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collections following established protocols.
- Patient Interaction: Create a welcoming environment while drawing blood, clearly explaining procedures to ensure patient confidence.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation and strictly follow procedural guidelines.
- Daily Operations: Effectively manage daily tasks under the supervision of the area manager.
Qualifications for the Phlebotomist Associate:
- Education: High school diploma required.
- Experience: 3 years of Phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections (2 years in a Patient Service Center preferred).
- Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong keyboarding and data entry skills required.
- Location Requirement: Must reside within a 20-25 minute commute for flexible coverage.
