Job Overview – Phlebotomist (Associate Level):
Our healthcare client in Jefferson City, MO, is looking for a skilled Phlebotomist (Associate Level). In this role, you’ll collect blood samples with precision, prioritize patient comfort, and uphold the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Compensation: $25/hour
Location: Jefferson City, MO
Schedule: Monday to Friday (40 Hours/Week)
Responsibilities as the Phlebotomist (Associate Level):
- Specimen Collection: Perform accurate pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collections in accordance with established protocols.
- Patient Interaction: Provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients, ensuring clear communication during blood draws.
- Documentation: Ensure thorough and precise documentation, adhering to procedural standards.
- Daily Operations: Effectively manage daily responsibilities under the direction of the area supervisor.
Qualifications for the Phlebotomist (Associate Level):
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 3 years of Phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections (2 years in a Patient Service Center preferred).
- Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong keyboarding and data entry skills required.
