Job Overview – Project Manager (Civil)
Our leading recruiting agency is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee and guide projects from award through closeout. This pivotal role requires exceptional leadership skills, effective communication, and a strong commitment to project management excellence.
Compensation: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 + bonus
Location: Orlando, FL – Onsite
Responsibilities of the Project Manager (Civil):
- Build and nurture strong client and subcontractor relationships, fostering effective communication.
- Assume full responsibility for project management, including mentoring and developing staff.
- Coordinate work scope with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors while supervising support teams.
- Efficiently manage procurement, contracts, and ensure timely material delivery with accurate billing.
- Review and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices, maintaining compliance with construction documents.
- Monitor project scope, handle deviations, and collaborate on pricing revisions with the estimating team.
Qualifications of the Project Manager (Civil) Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, OR 7+ years of management experience required.
- 5+ years of experience managing sitework construction projects, including erosion control, excavation, and utility installation
- Travel is a requirement for this position, primarily within the Southeast and other East Coast areas.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
- Ability to conduct on-site inspections, climb ladders, traverse slopes, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds may be required
