Accounting education focused institution is currently hiring for a Vice President of Programs and Foundation in Philadelphia, PA. In this role you will be responsible for all teams involved in innovating membership, programs, and engagement strategies through customer feedback, insights, and data-driven discoveries. We are looking for individuals committed to integrative content strategy and developing focused, successful, collaborative teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee idea generation, content creation, and start to finish execution of all high-quality, sustainable programming (this includes conferences, webinars, Foundation events, statewide engagement events and local engagement events)
  • Develop a team that uses all sources of information, including data, committees, member relationships, research, surveys, and others to become an expert in how to capture member interests through services/programs and deepen loyalty
  • Deliver innovative new programming that engages members and constituents beyond discrete events, with the ultimate goal of improving recruitment, retention, and revenue outcomes
  • Create goals and measurement strategies around programming success to drive higher program loyalty and retention rates
  • In collaboration with the CEO, CSIO, Foundation Board, and other stakeholders, define relevant goals, KPIs, and success metrics for the Foundation, including fundraising goals, mission outcomes, and delivery of services
  • Lead the team responsible for realizing financial and programming goals
  • Use data effectively to make decisions and drive operations.
  • Build a community of engaged stakeholders around the work of the Foundation
  • Build a team with a deep understanding of the accounting ecosystem and proactively apply that knowledge to the work
  • Oversee an integrated content strategy including the planning & development of content
  • Manage the team’s workflow to ensure their activities support the strategic initiatives and ensure they have effective knowledge, tools, and resources.
  • Lead, develop, coach, and mentor team of four managers.
  • Evaluate and execute quarterly and annual performance reviews
  • Oversee effective operations of the program and Foundation functions, including budgeting and planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
  • Prior experience in accounting/finance required, CPA preferred
  • Proven operational and administrative leadership, including the ability to manage and hold others accountable in situations involving complexity, ambiguity, or new challenges.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
  • Ability to lead a high-impact team in delivering existing and new programs that meet key goals and performance metrics. Provide staff development and coaching
