Job Overview – Vice President of Management Company Accounting:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President of Management Company Accounting to help lead our client's financial operations team in NYC. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial reporting functions of the management company.

Compensation: $150,000.00 – $250,000.00 + bonus
Location: New York City

Responsibilities of the Vice President of Management Company Accounting include:

  • Leading and managing a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis for the management company
  • Driving strategic financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Developing and maintaining robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard financial integrity
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance financial decision-making
  • Managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
  • Providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis
  • Staying informed about industry trends, accounting practices, and regulatory changes
  • Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting timelines

Qualifications of the Vice President of Management Company Accounting include:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred
  • Extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and management
