Job Overview – Vice President (Fund Reporting):
Join our private equity client’s team in New York City as Vice President of Fund Reporting. In this full-time role, you’ll lead fund reporting processes, oversee third-party administrators, and support quarterly closings and investor relations efforts.
Compensation: $150,000 – $185,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Vice President (Fund Reporting):
- Fund Administration: Manage and coordinate with third-party administrators, ensuring accurate transaction information and reviewing their work.
- Financial Statements: Assist in preparing and reviewing fund, general partner, and co-investor financial statements.
- Analysis: Interpret deal documentation related to financial reporting.
- Closing Support: Assist with quarterly and annual closings, audit requests, IRR, and Carried Interest calculations.
- Capital Calls & Distributions: Help with capital calls, distributions, and fund-related processes.
- Tax & Compliance: Provide information for tax reporting and ensure compliance with partnership agreements.
Qualifications for the Vice President (Fund Reporting):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
- Experience: 8-10 years of Public/Private Accounting experience, with a focus on Private Equity or Alternatives Reporting.
- Licensure: CPA required, with strong partnership accounting experience.
- Skills: System savvy, adept at working in a lean, fast-paced environment.
