Position Overview – Systems Engineer:
We are hiring a Systems Engineer to become a vital member of our client's global IT team. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization's technological infrastructure, with a primary focus on providing support to the London office.
Compensation: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 + bonus
Location: New York City
Responsibilities as the Systems Engineer Include:
- Provide first-contact support and implement solutions across different levels.
- Handle hardware/software provisioning, installation, and maintenance.
- Offer white-glove executive support to end-users.
- Collaborate with the US-based IT team for continuous 24/7 help desk support.
- Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Support global IT systems, including Windows, Microsoft Exchange, Cisco, etc.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Proofpoint, Mac iOS, Android, and VC systems is preferred.
- Contribute to projects and assist with end-user hybrid work setup.
Qualifications as the Systems Engineer Include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Experience working in financial institutions (banks or buy-side asset managers).
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Desktop OS, Microsoft Exchange, Cisco, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Proofpoint, Mac iOS, Android, and VC systems.
- Strong appreciation for organizational culture and responsiveness.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Flexibility to handle a wide range of IT tasks and responsibilities.
