Title: Site Superintendent
Location: New Haven County, CT
Compensation: $125,000 – $155,000 + bonus
Atlantic Group is searching for a Site Superintendent to join a construction firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. With a commitment to excellence, we are seeking a Site Superintendent to join their team and contribute to the success of their projects. As a Site Superintendent, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of construction projects. Working closely with the project team, you will ensure that projects are delivered with the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities & Highlight:
- Lead and guide a team of superintendents, assistant superintendents, project engineers, and site staff, providing expert mentorship.
- Oversee construction project planning, scheduling, coordination, and constructability assessment, ensuring efficient progress.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections, upholding industry, and company standards, while facilitating constructive adjustments.
- Facilitate coordination meetings with trades, addressing work progress, project schedule, safety, and future activities.
- Prepare accurate daily reports encompassing on-site work, milestones, delays, and weather conditions, utilizing dedicated software.
- Superintendent will receive a company truck.
Requirements:
- The Site Superintendent must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of hands-on construction experience in a supervisory capacity, successfully managing large-scale projects $10M +
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a willingness to travel as required.
- Readiness to commit additional hours when needed to achieve strategic business goals.
