Compensation: $135,000-$150,000 + bonus

Atlantic Group is representing a Senior Manager opportunity based in Washington, DC. The Senior Manager will be responsible for the full cycle financial reporting process. This is a hybrid role.
Highlights About the Company & Position:
- Oversee the quarterly and annual financial reporting process, including preparation of the group consolidation and drafting of footnote disclosures in accordance with the applicable accounting standards (US GAAP and IFRS).
- Perform financial statement reviews for all corporate entities.
- Management of debt covenant calculations and lender reporting.
- Manage the identification, research and resolution of financial reporting issues.
- Prepare accounting position/technical research papers.
- Manage external auditor requests.
- Contribute to the financial planning and analysis process, calculation of Non GAAP KPI’s and reconciliation between forecast and actual results.
- Analyze and interpret fund and transaction documentation for accounting and financial reporting purposes.
- Create memoranda documenting funding, prepayment, restructuring and other important events that are to be communicated to management.
- Assign, oversee and evaluate work of direct reports.
- Assist in non-recurring projects.
- Provide support to the Accounting and Finance team in developing, maintaining and documenting the group’s system of internal controls processes and procedures.
- Provide on-going ad-hoc assistance to senior management in the preparation of financial analysis and reports used for a variety of purposes including but not limited to investor and potential investor presentations and portfolio related matters.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant financial services accounting and reporting experience.
- Experience with Big 4 is a plus.
- CPA required
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Investment Company Guide accounting and reporting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, including specific expertise with Word and Excel.
- Strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with financial modeling a plus.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing people.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience reading and interpreting contracts.
- Understanding of investment products, alternative investments and securities operations.
