We are seeking a Senior Management Company Accountant to join our client's team. In this role, you will manage the expense allocation process and ensure accurate reporting within the high-profile expense allocation topic. If you have a strong background in accounting, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities: 
In the role of Senior Management Company Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing month-end allocation schedules for properly allocating expenses to the appropriate funds
  • Preparing supporting expense accrual calculations and booking general ledger journal entries in Microsoft Business Central
  • Preparing journal entries in a nontraditional data format suitable for uploading into the Data Warehouse
  • Monitoring daily cash activity and preparing monthly cash reconciliations while working closely with Accounts Payable, Tax, and Treasury to identify and solve unusual transactions
  • Maintaining and updating metadata within the Data Warehouse to improve data quality
  • Preparing monthly bank, payroll, and account reconciliations
  • Preparing monthly expense summaries and analyses
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and determining action items
  • Interacting with Operations, Data Warehouse Development, Legal, Tax, and Financial Reporting to resolve process and accounting issues
  • Identifying, enhancing, developing, and documenting process efficiencies
  • Assisting with ad-hoc requests
  • Assisting with year-end audits

Qualifications: 
To be considered for the Senior Management Company Accountant role, you should have:

  • A minimum of two to five years of relevant experience
  • A BA or BS in Accounting or a related field with an excellent academic record
  • Experience in financial-related capacities preferred
  • A desire to work in a role that combines equal parts getting down into the details of reporting data and acting as a project manager
  • Natural curiosity and enthusiasm for proactively learning new systems and tools
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are a must
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Exceptional grammar, documentation, and writing skills
  • Excellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work efficiently and in a very dynamic and deadline-driven environment
