Job Overview:
We are hiring a Senior Loan Operations Analyst to oversee and optimize our client's fund operations, specifically focusing on loan administration, data oversight, investment allocations, cash planning, settlement, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Loan Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage day-to-day loan administration, providing quality control and data oversight of internal and external recordkeeping
  • Calculate and accurately record investment allocations across multiple client accounts
  • Monitor liquidity and proactively plan cash funding for investment activities
  • Efficiently settle and reconcile cash and credit activity
  • Compile, review, and organize documentation to maintain complete allocation approval files
  • Record closing transaction details in MIM PE&C systems with precision
  • Facilitate effective communication of senior loan data across various MIM PE&C and John Hancock teams
  • Prepare comprehensive quarterly portfolio summary reports
  • Monitor and promptly address any aged cash reconciliation breaks with custodians and/or agents
  • Assist with annual audit requests to ensure a seamless audit process

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Senior Loan Operations Analyst role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in fund operations and reporting, preferably within the financial industry or private equity
  • Proficiency in investment allocation calculations and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with loan administration and quality control processes
  • Strong ability to monitor liquidity and optimize cash planning
  • Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment
