Job Overview – Senior IT Services Engineer
Join our client's team in Boston, MA as a Senior IT Services Engineer. In this role, you will provide first-line support and ensure the smooth operation of desktop, mobile, video conferencing, VoIP, networking, and SaaS services. Your focus will be on delivering efficient service to a discerning user base.

Compensation: $120,000.00 – $160,000.00 + bonus
Location: Boston Massachusetts

Responsibilities as the Senior IT Services Engineer include:

  • Resolving desktop/PDA service requests, providing detailed desktop hardware/software support, and managing cloud service accounts
  • Setting up, supporting, troubleshooting video conferencing and multimedia presentation facilities
  • Building, testing, installing, and managing desktop/laptop PCs and iOS-based PDAs
  • Evaluating, selecting, implementing, and standardizing desktop hardware solutions
  • Managing cellular service telephone/data plans, software support, and hardware maintenance contract.
  • Developing, documenting, and maintaining operational, maintenance, and security procedures
  • Configuring, testing, and implementing new 2FA user accounts, SaaS accounts, and telephone services
  • Maintaining an inventory of all hardware and software, including laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile phones
  • Installing, maintaining, and operating network switching and firewall infrastructure
  • Ensuring compliance with information, confidentiality, and compliance policies

Qualifications for the Senior IT Services Engineer include:

  • Four-year degree in an IT or math-related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in support-related positions
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, Windows 10/11, iOS, Office365 (Click-To-Run), Intune, Chrome, Firefox, BitLocker, and PowerShell in a TCP/IP networking environment
  • Strong network troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with Mac OSX, JAMF, Adobe, Foxit PDF, FreshService, or similar help desk management systems is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft End Point Manager (Intune)/AutoPilot/Apple Business Manager/JAMF for managing Windows-based laptops/iOS Devices is preferred
  • Prior experience deploying Apple MacBooks/OSX with JAMF is a plus
  • Ability to work 40-60 hours per week in a fast-paced office environment
