Job Overview – Senior Field Adjuster:
As a Senior Field Claims Adjuster, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient processing and resolution of property insurance claims. In this dynamic position, you'll assess damage, communicate effectively with policyholders, and make accurate estimations for repair costs. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high-quality service standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Compensation: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 + benefits
Locations:
- Northern to Central NJ
- CT (Southern CT preferred)
- MA (Greater Boston preferred)
Responsibilities as the Senior Field Adjuster include:
- Conducting accurate coverage analysis and damage assessments on complex files to ensure prompt payment of claims in accordance with quality standards
- Providing proactive communication and setting accurate claims length expectations
- Writing estimates for covered damage, providing customers with scope of loss and cost of repairs, with some losses exceeding $100K
- Assigning, directing, and overseeing vendors conducting mitigation and/or inspection during the adjustment of homeowners' property claims
- Identifying subrogation potential and liability exposures
- Establishing timely and appropriate claim reserves in accordance with claim standards
- Adjusting homeowner’s property claims in all states in which the company writes business
- Appropriately representing the company by executing a high level of service and maintaining professionalism at all times
Qualifications of the Senior Field Adjuster include:
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly
- Capability to identify and address customer’s needs to ensure an outstanding experience on every interaction
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting the rapid growth of the customer base
- Self-motivated individual to meet and exceed goals
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
- Minimum of 1 – 3 years overall work experience preferred
- Ability to obtain licensure in applicable states if required and complete CE credit/classes where necessary
- Ability to carry up to 25 lbs and conduct roof inspections on homes <2 stories
- Valid Driver’s License and proficient driving record
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred
