Job Overview – Senior Construction Estimator:
Join a dynamic team with our client as a Senior Construction Estimator, where you will oversee estimating, bidding, and purchasing for multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial renovation projects. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of our client’s diverse portfolio.
Compensation: $80,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Responsibilities as the Senior Construction Estimator:
- Estimating and Bidding: Lead the estimating, bidding, and purchasing processes for projects.
- Bid Management: Manage the bid process, securing proposals from local contractors.
- Project Coordination: Oversee subcontract purchasing and budget management, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Client Collaboration: Coordinate with clients and consultants during preconstruction.
- Business Development: Support efforts to secure new projects and expand the client’s portfolio.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and execute contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
Qualifications for the Senior Construction Estimator:
- Experience: 5-10 years in Construction Estimating for mid-size to large companies.
- Project Expertise: Expertise in multifamily/mixed-use new construction and commercial renovations.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Procore Software for budget management.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and project management abilities.
