Job Overview – Senior Assurance Associate:
As a Senior Assurance Associate, you will take on a leadership role managing audit engagements for financial services clients including banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and fintech firms. Key responsibilities include:

Compensation: $70,000.00 – $95,000.00 + bonus
Location: New York City
Responsibilities of the Senior Associate include:
- Taking charge of auditing financial services clients with a primary focus on banks, insurance companies, asset management, and fintech firms
- Spearheading pre-engagement planning, execution, and timely delivery of audit projects, ensuring top-tier client satisfaction
- Developing work plans and budgets while meticulously tracking project schedules to meet crucial milestones
- Actively contributing to proposal development by leveraging your deep industry knowledge and strategic acumen to win new business
- Providing oversight and mentorship to a dedicated team of staff associates, including interns, offering guidance, coaching, and valuable feedback
- Building trust and confidence within our team through proficient client management, transparent communication, and exemplary leadership
Qualifications for the Senior Associate include:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
- Experience in the Financial Services industry
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- CPA licensure or eligibility for the examination
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
