Role Overview – Senior Associate, Financial Reporting & Accounting:
Our client is seeking a Senior Associate to support financial reporting and compliance for a newly launched private Business Development Company (BDC) direct lending fund. The ideal candidate will record investment transactions, coordinate audits, standardize accounting policies, and provide operational support for consistent loan portfolio returns.
Compensation: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 + bonus
Location: New York City
Responsibilities for the Senior Associate include:
• Maintaining investor capital accounts
• Recording private debt investment transactions
• Posting accrued interest cash flows
• Supporting external fund administrator
Qualifications of the Senior Associate include:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
• 3-5 years with portfolio accounting experience
• CPA strongly preferred
• SEC reporting or RIC vehicle exposure a plus
