Job Overview – Senior Accountant (Offshore Accounting Team)
The Senior Accountant oversees diverse accounting functions across multiple businesses, including month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role also involves managing an offshore accounting team and enhancing the accounting infrastructure.
Compensation: $70,000.00 – $100,000.00 + bonus
Location: Conshohocken, PA – Hybrid (Min 1 day a week in office)
Responsibilities as the Senior Accountant (Offshore Accounting Team) include:
- Managing month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies
- Enforce GAAP revenue recognition standards across entities and conduct relevant analyses
- Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and investigate variances to support timely financial closes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners, and auditors to implement effective accounting models, ensure revenue recognition compliance, and streamline reporting systems
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant (Offshore Accounting Team) include:
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Background in public accounting or combination public and corporate required
- Open to candidates from various industries
- Strong leadership qualities needed to help establish and optimize the accounting and finance sector within the company, including process implementation
