Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 + bonus 

Job Overview:
As Senior Accountant at a dynamic investment group, you'll have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals and contribute to the accounting and financial reporting of our diversified family office and real estate private equity fund.

As the Senior Accountant your tasks include but are not limited to 

  • Book monthly journal entries and prepare related account reconciliations for multiple investment entities
  • Assist with the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
  • Prepare annual 1099s
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for cash accounts
  • Perform a detailed review of expense accounts and certain balance sheet accounts to ensure proper accruals, coding, and accounting and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Prepare monthly cash report
  • Prepare quarterly FMV reports
  • Analyze financial results and prepare annual financial statements for Management
  • Participate in the coordination of annual tax filings with third party tax professionals and distribution of K-1s to Members
  • Complete Investor Questionnaires and related documents for all new investments
  • Consistently evaluate areas for process improvement and automation
  • Assist with special projects and prepare ad hoc analyses, as needed

To be considered for the Senior Accountant role, you should have 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-6 years of relevant Accounting experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Real estate investments and/or alternative investment company experience is a plus
  • Proactive self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must be highly organized, able to prioritize competing demands, detail-oriented, maintain accuracy and self-check work
  • Timely communicate status of assigned tasks and special projects
  • QuickBooks or similar general ledger experience required
