Job Overview – Retail Construction Superintendent
Atlantic Group is seeking an experienced Superintendent with a strong focus on retail construction projects. As the Retail Construction Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of retail and big-box store projects. Compensation: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 + bonus
Location: Raleigh, NC
Responsibilities as the Retail Construction Superintendent include:
- Serve as the overall site supervisor, managing subcontractors and vendors.
- Provide leadership to the existing team, effectively resolving day-to-day issues on the job site.
- Inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Project Executives, Clients, and the Architect/Engineering team.
- Maintain strict safety standards, ensuring that subcontractors are properly trained and well-versed in OSHA and safety-related protocols.
- Take responsibility for quality assurance and punch list generation and supervision.
Requirements for the Retail Construction Superintendent Include:
- 5+ years of direct experience managing retail, big-box store, or bank construction projects
- Strong commitment to enforcing safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
- Skilled in leading on-site teams, providing motivation and effective management.
- Exceptional communication abilities for collaborating with project stakeholders.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high project quality.
