Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse to join their team. In this role, you will provide care to patients with mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia. You will also work with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the psychiatric/behavioral health nursing team, you can anticipate a dynamic and multifaceted role that involves a wide range of responsibilities. These may include, but are not restricted to —
- Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' mental health
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Administering medications and monitoring patients for potential side effects
- Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatment plans, and resources
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide input on patients' progress and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Must hold a degree in nursing from an accredited institution
- A minimum of one year of recent experience as an RN in the specific specialty they are applying for is required
- Must have an active RN license in the state of assignment, with no history of disciplinary action
- Must successfully pass all screening requirements, including medical, criminal, and other relevant tests
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Remuneration:
$50-$55/hour (salary range is contingent upon individual levels of experience)
