Job Overview – Private Equity Associate
You will play an integral role in our client’s investment activities. You will be responsible for evaluating and executing investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and contributing to the growth and success of clients. Your background in investment banking or private equity, particularly with deal experience in the lower middle market and relevant industries, will be crucial to your success in this role.
Compensation: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 + bonus
Location: Plymouth Meeting, PA – Onsite
Responsibilities as the Private Equity Associate include:
- Aiding in sourcing and screening potential investments
- Constructing intricate financial models for return analysis and valuation studies
- Monitoring and evaluating portfolio company performance, assisting with strategic analysis
- Preparing investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Engaging in market research and industry analysis to uncover investment prospects
- Assisting in investor reporting and fund update presentations
- Enhancing investment processes and tools
- Supporting senior team members with various projects and initiatives
Qualifications for the Private Equity Associate include:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant concentration
- 1+ year in investment banking or private equity
- Must have local ties and a strong connection to the Philadelphia market
- Self starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
