Job Overview – Private Equity Accounting Manager:
Join our client's growing team as an accounting professional at their fund admin shop. In this role, you will collaborate with clients to analyze investment portfolios, maintain pricing data, and ensure accurate accounting for private credit funds.
Compensation: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 + bonus
Location: Boston, Massachusetts | Remote
Responsibilities for the Private Equity Accounting Manager include:
- Interfacing with clients to review and analyze consolidated schedules of investments for private credit funds
- Maintaining a comprehensive Price Matrix for all investments
- Calculating investment costs and fair market values, including accretion and amortization
- Utilizing advanced Excel formulas and correct inconsistencies in flow-through entities
- Managing and training teams, communicating effectively with various stakeholders
- Conducting ad-hoc analytical projects
Qualifications of the Private Equity Accounting Manager include:
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive financial services experience, preferably in the private sector
- Previous managerial experience is desirable
- Strong understanding of Credit Fund accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Exceptional critical thinking, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset is a plus
