Title: Preconstruction Manager
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 all-in compensation
Location: Lehigh County, PA
The Atlantic Group is representing a best-in-class $200 million Construction Management firm with offices in the Pennsylvania and South Jersey areas. The company specializes in design-build projects. The company is looking for a Preconstruction Manager who can be an additional heavy hitter within the organization and who can develop relationships within the subcontracting community. The Preconstruction Manager must be very organized and a strong communicator.

- $200M construction management firm with a strong pipeline of projects, vast network of clients, and loyal team members
- Timely management of the bidding process inception through completion for assigned projects
- Solicit, receive, spread, equalize, and analyze bids for conceptual estimates, hard bids, GMP and lump sum, and major change order pricing
- Prepare and/or assist with the preparation of scopes of work to support the estimating process
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with our subcontracting community
- Ability to fully comprehend front end documents – specs, general conditions, schedule constraints – and their impacts on the project bids
Qualifications:
- 4-year degree from an accredited construction related curriculum preferred
- 3+ years of experience in industrial and commercial estimating
- Demonstrated competency in the following areas: estimating, bidding, purchasing, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, subcontractor negotiations, client relationship, interpersonal skills, and design/construction technology
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral), leadership skills, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Maxwell Pro Contractor and Microsoft Office
