Job Overview – MEP Field Coordinator

Join our client's team as an MEP Field Coordinator and be a vital part of the construction process, ensuring seamless coordination of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical aspects of projects. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with the Project Team and contribute to the success of construction projects from pre-construction through post-construction phases.

Compensation: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 + bonus
Location: Chester County, PA – Onsite

Responsibilities of the MEP Field Coordinator include:

  • Coordinate mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical aspects of projects throughout all project phases, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction.
  • Assist the Project Team in planning and executing MEP-related activities to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and coordination of MEP activities.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor MEP installations, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
  • Review MEP design drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of MEP-related activities, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and project records.
  • Provide support to the Project Team as needed to address MEP-related challenges and ensure project success.

Qualifications of the MEP Field Coordinator include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Technology, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in MEP construction, with a strong understanding of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and best practices, with the ability to read and interpret MEP design drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
