Manager – Global Special Purpose Entity Team
Compensation: $130,000 – 155,000 + bonus
Location: New York, NY
The Atlantic Group is representing a Manager-level position for the Global Special Purpose Entity team based in New York. The Manager will be responsible for managing financial reporting processes, reviewing financial statements, and working with other teams.
Highlights About the Company & Position:
- Manage the quarterly and annual financial reporting processes for investment holding companies in numerous jurisdictions
- Review quarterly and annual financial statements
- Review public and private portfolio company valuation models
- Review supporting schedules
- Review investment/transaction related documents
- Work closely with Fund Accounting, Cash Management, Tax, Custody, and Portfolio Analysis Teams
Requirements:
- 5-10 years post-grad with some “management” experience
- CPA
- Strong qualifications
- GAAP and reporting background
- Private equity and/or alternative investment experience required
- Experience reviewing financial statements prepared under US GAAP
- Familiarity with ASC 820, Fair Value Measurements and Disclosures
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational and analytical skills, detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize under pressure
- Experience with Alteryx and Microsoft Power BI is a plus
