Job Overview:
The Junior Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. You will assist in various tasks and projects, helping to maintain a smooth workflow. This is a contract position with the possibility for temp-to-hire conversion for exceptional candidates.
Responsibilities:
In the role of Junior Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for the following —
- Managing incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel
- Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining the appointment calendar
- Assisting in organizing and coordinating meetings and conferences
- Providing basic and accurate information to clients and visitors in person, via phone, or email
- Assisting with data entry and maintaining databases
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Junior Administrative Assistant role, you should have —
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Resourcefulness and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
