Compensation: $95,000.00 – $125,000.00
Location: Boston, Massachusetts 

Responsibilities as the Investment Accountant Associate II include:

  • Implementing an internal control framework for timely and precise financial reporting, continuously suggesting improvements
  • Collaborating with peers to analyze trends and provide insightful commentary on financial performance
  • Conducting reconciliations of investment data for ledger tie-outs and preparing periodic journal entries
  • Supporting the Financial Reporting team in offering accounting information and participating in regulatory audits
  • Researching and implementing new statutory and GAAP investment accounting standards
  • Identifying and implementing accounting improvements, leading complex projects, and continuous improvement activities

Requirements for the Investment Accountant Associate II include:

  • Possessing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
  • Accumulating 4+ years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
  • Exposure to investment accounting and subsidiary ledger processing is advantageous
  • Progress towards CPA or CFA certification is preferred
  • Having knowledge of GAAP accounting, with STAT accounting experience considered a plus
  • Demonstrating the ability to collaborate with business leaders in redesigning investment processes
  • Cultivating intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning
