Hiring ASAP for an Interim Controller to oversee Accounting function for large company based out of Philadelphia, PA, on a Temporary Basis. We need someone experienced overseeing multiple managers and their respective teams. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and invested in collaboration, adept at both daily and monthly operations as well as long term project management. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the accounting function and provide team management in the following areas:
- Reconciliations
- Journal Entries
- Prepaid Assets/Cash
- Revenue/Receivables
- Claims/Expenses/Liabilities
- General Accounting
- Collaborate with team managers to assess team effectiveness
- Direct large Data Migration/Transformation project
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience as a Controller, leading daily and monthly accounting functions
- Experience in the insurance industry is preferred
- Experience in a large global company is preferred
- Experience in General Ledger project management
