Insurance Operations Program Manager
Compensation: $130,000 – $175,000
Location: New York, NY
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational and technology due diligence of M&A/deal pipeline
- Manage the insurance business unit project portfolio and report syndication
- Manage key business processes for the Insurance team
- Support portfolio company technology projects and system/data conversions
- Contribute to improving and refining interaction and engagement models between insurance portfolio companies
- Work with portfolio companies to enhance operational, technology, and expense performance
- Perform due diligence on deals/M&A transactions
- Partner across asset management and operations teams to mature processes for onboarding and ongoing management of insurance investments
- Serve as a liaison for interactions across business units, portfolio companies, and counterparties
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience driving strategic operations and/or technology transformation in financial services (preferably insurance)
- 5 years of program/project management experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented
- Strong combination of organizational and interpersonal/communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a high-volume environment
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Structured problem solver who is able to synthesize complex information from a variety of sources into implementable recommendations and solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
- Strong prioritization and project management skills
