Job Overview:
Atlantic Group is representing a reputable hospital in Houston, TX, offering opportunities for Inpatient Registered Nurses (RNs). This position provides flexible hours.
Position Highlights:
As a Inpatient RN you will be responsible for the following —
- Attending patient rounds for individuals with identified wounds
- Educating floor nursing staff on wound identification, examination, and assessment
- Contributing to interdisciplinary plan of care using assessment data
- Serving as a resource for evaluating the effectiveness of the care plan and modalities
- Identifying patients who would benefit from the services of the outpatient wound care center upon discharge from the inpatient setting
Shifts: Monday – Friday (7a-3p, 8a-4p, 9a-5p)
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications —
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association, ANA
- Valid Texas State Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Wound and Ostomy, WOCN, certification or Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse, CWON
- Preferred experience working with wound care patients
- Experience with billing and coding is preferred
