Job Overview – Human Resource Generalist:
Join our client’s dynamic team in Bergen County, NJ, as a Human Resource Generalist. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive HR services across the organization, focusing on talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS management. The HR Generalist will be the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and topics, fostering a positive culture and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.

Location: Bergen County, NJ
Compensation: $80,000 – $85,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities as the Human Resource Generalist:

  • Talent Acquisition: Coordinate recruitment processes and manage talent acquisition efforts.
  • HRIS Management: Update and maintain the HRIS system with new hires and terminations.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer benefit plans, manage open enrollment, and reconcile member data.
  • Onboarding: Conduct employee onboarding and enhance the new hire experience.
  • Employee Support: Provide support on HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation, resolving any arising issues.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies.
  • Performance Management: Undertake tasks related to performance management and organize annual performance reviews.
  • HR Metrics: Gather and analyze HR metrics, including time to hire and employee turnover rates.
  • Workplace Promotion: Promote HR programs to ensure an efficient and conflict-free workplace.

Qualifications for the Human Resource Generalist:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources and analyzing data, performing calculations, and producing reports.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel; Knowledge of HRIS systems is a plus.
