Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 + bonus

Location: New York, NY

Multi-billion Hedge Fund is seeking a Human Capital Coordinator to join the team. The Human Capital Coordinator is responsible for supporting the full hiring process as well as updating and maintaining accurate employee and candidate data for reporting and analysis. This position reports to the Director of Human Capital and works closely with other members of the team and colleagues across the Firm.

Highlights About the Company & Position:

  • Coordinating recruiting process: liaising with candidates, employees, and external recruiters on scheduling and preparing for interviews; collecting interview feedback; facilitating the completion of application forms; updating information in candidate tracking systems.
  • Coordinating onboarding processes with new hires and other teams involved; facilitating background checks with an outside vendor; scheduling orientation meetings; ensuring new hires complete necessary forms and everything is in place for their first day.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate employee information; drafting regular and ad hoc reports for internal purposes and client requests; analyzing data for continuous improvement of HC processes.
  • Coordinating internship program: assisting with hiring and programming for a total of approximately 10 summer interns annually.
  • Supporting relationships with external partner organizations to help create more diverse candidate slates (e.g., SEO, MLT, Synergist, and others).
  • Support compliance with employment legislation (e.g., ordering posters to comply with local, state, and federal regulations for offices around the US).
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve job-related processes and initiatives.
  • Assisting with various other assignments to support the team as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Experience tracking and reporting data in Excel.
  • Proactive self-starter with proven time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highest level of discretion, tact, and good judgment, especially with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with HRIS and/or ATS systems (Bamboo HR is a plus).
  • Proficiency with Outlook and Windows.
