Job Overview:
As a Hedge Fund Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our client's hedge funds. Your expertise will be integral in conducting portfolio reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Working closely with external auditors during fund audits, you will uphold the highest accuracy and data.
Compensation: $65,000.00 – $90,000.00 + bonus

Responsibilities:
In this key role as a Hedge Fund Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing day-to-day accounting tasks for our hedge funds with precision and efficiency
- Conducting comprehensive fund valuations and preparing meticulous financial statements
- Ensuring seamless portfolio reconciliations and promptly resolving any discrepancies
- Assisting in the preparation of regulatory filings and compliance reports, adhering to industry standards
- Collaborating closely with external auditors during fund audits to facilitate a smooth process
- Contributing to investment-related research and analysis, providing valuable insights to the team
- Identifying opportunities for process enhancement, taking an active role in improving accounting procedures

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Hedge Fund Accountant role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, demonstrating a strong educational foundation
- A proven track record of at least 3 years in hedge fund accounting, showcasing expertise in the industry
