Job Overview – Fund Accounting Coordinator:
Join our client's team in the integral capacity of a Fund Accounting Coordinator, a role that holds significant sway in orchestrating financial reporting and operational functions within the Fund Accounting and Operations group. This role provides a distinct and unmatched opportunity to navigate the intricacies of the private equity landscape, while actively participating in collaborative endeavors across diverse teams. 

Compensation: $30.00 – $35.00 / hour
Location: New York City

Responsibilities as the Fund Accounting Coordinator include:

  • Oversee and manage quarter-end Financial Statements using Microsoft Word
  • Monitor and communicate the progress of quarterly reporting for Capital Account Statements and Financial Statements
  • Collaborate closely with the Valuations Reporting team to compile deliverables for Limited Partner Quarterly Reports
  • Coordinate with Senior Fund Accountants and external auditors to provide requested support
  • Efficiently code invoices through Concur Invoice for streamlined payment processes
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from Limited Partners, ensuring their needs are met promptly
  • Submit occasional expense reports for Managers, maintaining meticulous records
  • Demonstrate a proactive problem-solving approach, addressing challenges effectively
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational skills, ensuring tasks and documents are well-structured
  • Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills in interactions

Qualifications for the Fund Accounting Coordinator include:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with prior relevant experience considered advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team framework
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to embrace new responsibilities
  • Impeccable attention to detail, ensuring precision in all tasks
  • Quick learning aptitude to efficiently grasp instructions and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective engagement with cross-functional teams
