Position Overview – Financial Reporting Consultant:
Join our client's financial team as a Financial Reporting Consultant. In this role, you will prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements filed with regulatory authorities and standalone financial statements for various entities.
Compensation: $60.00 – $100.00 / HR
Location: Westchester County (possibility of a flexible 4/1 or 3/2 hybrid schedule)
Responsibilities as the Financial Reporting Consultant include:
- Preparing U.S. GAAP quarterly Form 10-Qs and annual Form 10-K filed with the SEC
- Preparing annual standalone financial statements for multiple entities in accordance with accounting/reporting standards
- Reviewing U.S. GAAP financial statements and underlying worksheets
- Researching and documenting technical accounting matters
- Managing the SEC reporting timeline, ensuring adherence to deadlines for financial close, BOD package, press release, and 10-Q/K
- Responding to external audit requests
Qualifications for the Financial Reporting Consultant include:
- CPA certification
- Strong experience in SEC reporting and GAAP compliance
- Previous experience at a publicly traded company is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Flexibility to accommodate a 4/1 or 3/2 schedule
