Job Overview:
The Financial Manager/Controller will oversee all financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting. They will work closely with other departments to develop financial strategies and ensure that all financial activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Key Responsibilities —
As a Financial Manager/Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing and filing tax returns, including income, sales, and payroll taxes, in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and documented
- Providing tax-related advice to clients, including tax planning and strategies to minimize tax liabilities
- Researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Responding to tax-related inquiries and audits from government agencies
- Staying up-to-date with changes to tax laws and regulations, and inform clients of any changes that may affect them
- Preparing financial statements and other reports as needed
Qualifications —
To be considered for the Financial Manager/Controller role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA license or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
