Job Overview:
Join a Single Family Office based in New York City as an experienced Financial Controller. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the financial operations of the Family Office. Responsibilities:
As a Family Office Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following —

Preparing monthly financials, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts for the Family Office

Analyzing expenses and monthly credit card spends in collaboration with the Family

Managing tax returns in-house and oversee the tax process

Implementing new accounting software and develop reporting systems

Structuring investment reporting in coordination with the Finance Director and Investment Team

Managing banking and payments in multiple currencies and locations

Handling vendor contracts and negotiate on behalf of the Family

Managing insurance policies and coverage

Developing financial policies and expense management policies for Family Office Staff
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Family Office Financial Controller role you should have the following —

10+ years of experience as a licensed CPA with Family Office experience.

Strong financial analysis and cost management skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and reporting systems.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
