Atlantic Group is hiring a Finance Associate (Investment Operations) in Boston, MA for our client, supporting investment reporting, treasury operations, and fund administration across alternative investments. In this hybrid role, you will manage valuation reporting, coordinate with fund managers, support investment closings, and oversee cash movements while leveraging Excel and internal investment systems to ensure accurate tracking and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities as the Finance Associate (Investment Operations):

  • Investment Reporting & Valuations: Prepare and review quarterly valuation reports, performance summaries, and ad hoc analyses across hedge funds, private equity, and other investments.
  • Manager & Administrator Coordination: Serve as primary point of contact for external fund managers and administrators, managing communications and maintaining the team inbox.
  • Treasury & Cash Management: Execute weekly wires and cash movements, including capital activity and liquidity transfers, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Investment Closing Support: Assist with new investment onboarding, including commitment tracking, subscription documentation, and system setup.
  • Reconciliations & Operational Support: Reconcile monthly capital activity and partner with accounting teams to ensure accuracy across investment records and reporting.

Qualifications for the Finance Associate (Investment Operations):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 1+ years of accounting, finance, or investment operations experience within financial services or an investment environment preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with alternative investments, fund structures, capital activity, and performance reporting preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency required, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and financial reporting systems.
  • Skills & Attributes: Highly organized and analytical professional with strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while handling confidential information.
