Job Overview – Estimator (Civil Construction)
As an Estimator, you will play a vital role in project success by providing accurate cost estimates and proposals. You will work closely with the project management and sales teams to secure and deliver projects efficiently and within budget.
Compensation: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 + bonus
Location: Montgomery County, PA – Onsite (5 days a week)
Responsibilities as the Estimator (Civil Construction) include:
- Develop detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Collaborate with the sales team to create comprehensive project proposals that meet client requirements and align with company objectives
- Analyze bid documents, specifications, and drawings to understand project scope and requirements.
Requirements for the Estimator (Civil Construction) include:
- 5+ years of experience – estimating and managing (specifically heavy highway paving and materials in the civil construction space)
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
