Job Overview – Equipment Site Superintendent:
Do you have experience in equipment operation and construction work? Our client is seeking a dedicated Equipment Site Superintendent to join their expanding team. This role involves overseeing various tasks and projects related to the company’s construction and equipment divisions, ensuring timely project completion, and leading the Equipment Division.

Location: Harrisburg, PA
Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000/year + bonus

Responsibilities as the Equipment Site Superintendent:

  • Project Completion: Coordinate schedules, materials, and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Equipment Division Leadership: Lead daily excavation tasks and manage asset movement to ensure proper installation and maintenance of E&S control measures.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee inventory control for hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  • Quality Assurance: Promote quality through teamwork, maintain safety standards, and manage scheduling and material delivery.
  • Safety Management: Ensure a safe working environment at all sites, complete OSHA safety training, and report accidents or incidents.
  • Employee Development: Train and develop employees, conduct performance reviews, and approve overtime and vacation schedules.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend weekly production meetings, oversee the Quality Partner program, and evaluate contractors and suppliers.
  • Manual Labor: Perform manual labor tasks as needed, ensuring job sites are cleaned upon completion.

Qualifications for the Equipment Site Superintendent:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in equipment operation and construction work.
  • License: Valid CDL driver’s license with no active violations within the previous 3 years.
  • Certifications: Training and certification to operate assigned equipment.
  • Site Skills: Ability to complete site work, including digging, lifting, climbing ladders, and entering trench excavations. Experience installing pipe, water lines, sewer lines, and dry utilities.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to work from construction specifications and blueprints, load and operate vehicles and trailers, and perform extensive physical exertion.
