Job Overview – Employee Relations Specialist:
Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for fostering a positive work environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join their remote team. In this role, you’ll support employees and managers with various HR needs, working closely with HR Business Partners and legal teams.

Location: (Remote or Hybrid – Boston, MA)
Compensation: $45 – $50/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities as the Employee Relations Specialist:

  • Employee and Manager Support: Partner with HR to address employee relations, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations.
  • Workday Management: Ensure accurate updates to organizational structures and manage termination processes.
  • Investigations: Conduct investigations into employee issues and recommend actions.
  • Policy Guidance: Provide guidance on HR policies and assist in policy development.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze exit interview data for trends and insights.
  • Talent Management: Support talent management processes and provide coaching.
  • Compensation Review: Review and approve compensation changes.
  • Training: Design and deliver training on employee relations topics.

Qualifications for the Employee Relations Specialist:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of employee relations experience.
  • Skills: Knowledge of HR policies and employment law, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in HRIS systems (preferably Workday), conflict resolution, relationship building, confidentiality management, organizational skills, and cultural sensitivity.
